About Us:
Welcome to our website! It is a labor of love, but primarily it is a place where we can share our dogs and their accomplishments with you.
A brief bio on our involvement with Bernese Mountain Dogs is as follows:
Jessica has been involved with Berners since 1995, when she first brought Haley home. Quickly she became infatuated with the breed and all things "Berner."
Since then, we have shared our lives with several Berners, all of whom have lived their entire lives with us. Our dogs are our pets and companions first and all other things second.
We have made some very lasting friendships with people in the Berner community - they are "almost" as good as the dogs!
We live in a small town near Des Moines, Iowa.
Jessica's dog club involvement include: member of the Bernese Mountain Dog Clob of America, member of the Des Moines Kennel Club and President of Heartland Bernese Mountain Dog Club.
Jessica's first love is the conformation ring, but tracking and drafting come in close!
After all, a truly versatile Berner has a title on both ends of their name!
We are very proud to say that ALL of our Berners are owner/handled to their various titles, both conformation and performance!

Harper earned her Open Draft Dog title at the 2008 HBMDC Draft Test
Laney finished her Championship September 9, 2007!
She is now a BMDCA Versatility Dog!
Laney had quite a time at the 2007 BMDCA National Specialty
She earned her Tracking Dog title (TD) on Monday,
and then won 2nd Place in the large and extremely competitive
Bred-By Exhibitor bitch class on Friday!
Laney won a Group 3!!
She accomplished this from the classes over specials.
ALL Breeder/Owner-Handled!!!
Laney earned her Rally Novice (RN) obedience title with two first class placements!!
Laney is a certified Therapy Dog through Therapy Dogs International. She visits two local hospitals every week, specializing in pediatrics.
Charlie won a 3-point major over specials his
VERY first day of showing !!

Laney won 2nd Place in the Bred-By Exhibitor Bitch class at the
2007 BMDCA National Specialty under judge Arlene Davis
Laney earned her Tracking Dog title at the 2007 BMDCA National Specialty
Haley won Best in Veteran Sweepstakes
at the 2004 BMDCA National Specialty
(defeating a previous National Specialty Best of Breed Winner)
under breeder/judge Bobbie Kinley-Blewitt
Haley won an Award of Merit at the 2004 BMDCSEW regional specialty
under breeder/judge Deborah Wilkins
Haley won Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweeps at the 2004 BMDCSEW regional specialty under breeder/judge Gail Vogel
